Profile

Dr. Jigar Sura, presently working as an Asst. Prof. in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, holds a Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay. He has over 8 years of teaching experience, over 3 years of research experience and 6 months of industrial experience. He has done a Master in Jet Propulsion and Gas Turbine Plants from M S University of Baroda. He has published around 10 research papers in various National/International Journals and Conference proceedings. He is also a reviewer in journals of international repute. Dr. Sura is a member of various professional bodies like Aeronautical Society of India and Institution of Engineers (India). His areas of interests are Hypersonics, Scramjet Propulsion and UAVs.

Current Activities:

Teaching at UG (Aeronautical Engineering). Working as a Doctoral Progress Review committee member for Ph.D. students at various universities.
