The 3D Printing Club aims to teach others about additive manufacturing and engineering through the avenue of (but not restricted to) 3D printing. This goal includes teaching members how to use and construct 3D printers and designing models and parts for 3D printing and CAM purposes. This club can teach students important knowledge about manufacturing and engineering techniques, such as design philosophies and how to translate engineering ideas into manufacturable parts and projects. These concepts can be used in and illustrate concepts from classes and provide valuable experience for career paths in engineering.
The 3D Printing Club introduces students to engineering concepts through 3D printing. Students form teams to tackle design competitions, applying skills from classes while encouraging fun and creativity. Our club follows a competition format, where students form design teams and devise a project centred around a theme every month. These competitions are for fun, though they do have winners. Work with your team throughout the month to design, iterate, and present a final product for the competition day!

Greetings from the Center of Excellence Lab at SVIT Vasad! We take immense pride in introducing our Center of Excellence Lab, a remarkable initiative generously supported by SAP under the aegis of the Training & Placement Cell at SVIT Vasad. Our lab serves as a hub for the esteemed "Code Unnati Program," which is planned by the Edunet foundation in our college.
Our Center of Excellence Lab is a testament to cutting-edge technology and innovative learning experiences. With a substantial investment of 20 Lakhs, we've equipped the lab with the latest software and state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring an exceptional learning environment for students.
The hallmark initiative, the Code Unnati Program, is a corporate-to-citizen venture focusing on digital literacy and IT skills development. The program encompasses diverse domains such as Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Resource Planning tools for Industry-specific Applications, and other Emerging Technologies. For a detailed overview, we invite you to explore our program brochure.
The Code Unnati Program is structured from August 2022 to April 2023, encompassing classes held every Saturday and selected Fridays. The curriculum spans 180-210 hours of classroom sessions and hands-on project work. As a culmination, students undertake a Capstone Project and participate in intercollege showcase events. Moreover, our program facilitates job placement and entrepreneurial opportunities through incubation support. The program accommodates a batch size of 52 students, including TY and LY students from the IT, Computer, and EC branches.
In line with our commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge enhancement, we organize a one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on similar topics. This FDP empowers faculty members to grasp the latest tools and technologies, ensuring they remain updated with industry trends. By doing so, we aim to enhance the educational experience we provide to our students. We are also in the planning stages to extend similar programs to SY TY and LY students, envisioning a holistic educational approach that nurtures talent and encourages growth.
