Dr. Pimal Gandhi received Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from North Gujarat University, Masters in Electrical Engineering (Specialization in Automatic Control and Robotics) from The M S University of Baroda, Vadodara and PhD in Electrical Engineering from The M.S.Univeristy of Baroda, Vadodara. He has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and research. He has published and presented thirty four research paper in various national and international journals and conferences. He has visited Milan, Italy for presentation of research paper in highly reputed IEEE conferences. He has presented research paper in world reputed IEEE conferences likes PowerCon-2012, Auckland, New Zealand, Power and Energy Society Meeting, 2013, Vancouver, Canada and PowerTech-2019, Milano, Italy. He has received grant under the Travel Grant Scheme (TGS) from AICTE, New Delhi for presentation of research paper in International IEEE power and energy conference, Auckland, New Zealand, 2012. He has received the Sixth Pedagogical Innovation Award-2017 by Gujarat Technological University. His thrust research area are Power System Dynamics, Operation and Control, Micro grid and its control strategies, Restructured Power market, Advanced Control & Digital Control System, Artificial Intelligence to Electrical Engineering, Wind Energy Forecasting and Machine learning techniques, Mathematical Modelling and Simulations. He has joined SVIT, Vasad at 2001, where he is currently working as an Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering Department.
Current Activities:
Teaching the courses at UG and PG level in Electrical Engineering. Guiding UG projects and PG dissertations. Guiding Ph.D Students as a recognized supervisor by Gujarat Technological University
