About ISA :
Founded in 1945, the International Society of Automation (www.isa.org) is a leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the standard for automation by helping over 30,000 worldwide members and other professionals solve difficult technical problems, while enhancing their leadership and personal career capabilities. Based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, ISA develops standards, certifies industry professionals, provides education and training, publishes books and technical articles, and hosts conferences and exhibitions for automation professionals.
ISA Student Section :
Instrumentation and Control (IC) Department is attached with ISA Student Section past 12 years. Large number of seminars, workshops and expert lectures has been organized by IC Department under ISA Student Section. Till today more than 500 students are benefited from these events by proving their potentials in various industrial sectors. This year total 40 active members are contributing their skills for the development of ISA Student Section. This section is operated entirely by the students under the supervision of Faculty Advisor in which they developed their managerial and technical skills by organizing the various events.

Enable our members, including world-wide subject matter experts, automation suppliers, and end-users, to work together to develop and deliver the highest quality, unbiased automation information, including standards, training, publications, and certifications.

About ISHRAE :
The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) was established to promote the HVAC industry in India. Between 1989 & 1993, ISHRAE chapters were formed in all major cities in India and also in the Middle East.
The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE today has more than 28,780 HVAC&R professionals and Student-members. ISHRAE operates from 41 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with HQ in Delhi. It is led by a team of elected officers, who are members of the Society, working on a voluntary basis, and collectively called the Board of Governors.

ISHRAE conducts Conferences, Seminars, Workshops and Exhibitions throughout the country with both national and international participants to discuss, promote and display the state of the art technologies, systems, products and services. ISHRAE organizes ACREX INDIA, the largest international exposition in South Asia on the Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, Ventilation and Building services industry. Held annually, ACREX is considered to be a major opportunity to showcase the latest technologies / innovations, and provide a platform for buyer- seller meet for technical & commercial personnel in the HVAC& R field.
Education Training:
IIE, the educational arm of the Society, is working towards human resource development in the HVAC&R industry in the country by conducting various courses.One of the most important objectives of ISHRAE is Training Programs & this is attempted at various levels. Right at the apex of the pyramid we have the ICP Certification Courses on Clean rooms AC-Design, AC Service and others. At the next level ISHRAE offers a 4-month full time Diploma Course for graduate engineers. In addition at Chapter level ISHRAE holds several successful training programs, workshops, short term courses, e-learning opportunities & product presentations.
Research :
ISHRAE promotes research in the field of HVAC&R technology. It offers financial support to Graduate/Post Graduate students, to carry out innovative work on R & D in Technology, Systems, Processes.

About National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL):
National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is to teach the engineering and core science courses conducted by reputed faculties of IIT’s, NIT’s and IISc. Over 600 web and video courses were created in all major branches of engineering, physical sciences at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and management courses at the postgraduate level.

About Coding Club SVIT
The Coding Club serves as an exclusive platform within our college, empowering students to cultivate diverse skills encompassing computer coding, application development, web development, and other cutting-edge technologies. Our primary focus revolves around orchestrating a variety of events, including program coding sessions, debugging workshops, hackathons, and interactive workshops. Our objective is to elevate the coding proficiency and analytical problem-solving skills of our students through these engaging activities.

Activities
- Workshop on Python Programming A three-day workshop focused on "PYTHON PROGRAMMING" aimed to familiarize students with the basics and advanced libraries of Python Programming from various departments. Approximately 80 students actively participated. The workshop concluded with a quiz on the last day, and the top 3 students were rewarded with a fee waiver for the next workshop. Conducted by Mr. Akil Surti, an industry expert from Enlighten Infosystem, Vadodara.
- Workshop on C Programming A three-day workshop on "C PROGRAMMING" was organized to educate students about fundamental programming concepts and basics for SY IT department students. Nearly 138 students participated, engaging in concept clarification, programming knowledge, and practical tasks to enhance their programming skills. Each day concluded with a quiz, appreciating the top 3 students based on their performance. Conducted by Mr. Shlok Gadre, Coding Club Head. Coding Event: CYCLONE 2.0 An event named "CYCLONE 2.0" was held to boost students' coding skills. The event included a coding test created using the HACKEREARTH platform, with 63 students participating from all departments. Conducted by student co-coordinators and designed by Mr. Shlok Garde, a 4th-year student from the Information Technology department.
- Web Designing Competition During the COVID-19 lockdown, an engaging 12-hour Web Designing Competition was organized, encouraging students not to remain idle and to code. A total of 60 students participated, submitting approximately 24 web designing projects. The top 3 projects were awarded exciting prizes. Conducted by student co-coordinators.
- Seminar on Awareness of GITHUB A seminar focused on creating awareness about GITHUB, a leading software development platform. The session educated students about how to improve their programming skills, share project code on forums, and participate in coding competitions organized by GITHUB. Conducted by GITHUB representative, Harshil Agarwal.
- Coding Event: CYCLONE 1.0 A coding event named "CYCLONE 1.0" was organized to enhance students' coding skills. The event included a coding test created using the HACKEREARTH platform, with 17 students participating from all departments. Conducted by student co-coordinators and designed by Nikunj Prajapati & Shlok Garde, 3rd-year students from the Information Technology department.

3D Printing Club:
The 3D Printing Club aims to teach others about additive manufacturing and engineering through the avenue of (but not restricted to) 3D printing. This goal includes teaching members how to use and construct 3D printers and designing models and parts for 3D printing and CAM purposes. This club can teach students important knowledge about manufacturing and engineering techniques, such as design philosophies and how to translate engineering ideas into manufacturable parts and projects. These concepts can be used in and illustrate concepts from classes and provide valuable experience for career paths in engineering.
Objectives/ Purpose of club :
The 3D Printing Club introduces students to engineering concepts through 3D printing. Students form teams to tackle design competitions, applying skills from classes while encouraging fun and creativity. Our club follows a competition format, where students form design teams and devise a project centred around a theme every month. These competitions are for fun, though they do have winners. Work with your team throughout the month to design, iterate, and present a final product for the competition day!

Introduction
FLY SKY is the Aeromodelling club of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT), Vasad. The club aims at bringing together aerospace enthusiasts from all fields of engineering and assist them in exploring and learning, and thereafter working on innovative projects like Aero models (Non-Powered & Powered), Rockets and Multirotors in collaboration with like-minded individuals
Objectives:
- To provide the platforms to actualize student's talent and encourage them to mold their passion into professions.
- To hone student’s Focus and help them gain depth to achieve excellence.
- To sensitize the students towards immediate environment and the society at large.

The Robotics Research Centre (RRC) SVIT-Vasad is one of the active centre providing platforms to students and faculty members for realizing their innovative ideas in the field of Robotics and Automation. This centre was established in 2018. Under this centre, various workshops are organized for the students in collaboration with the Sak-Robotics Lab, Startup centre, IIT - Bhubaneswar. Apart from this, we are also associated with the e-yantra group of IIT, Bombay for various other Robotics related activities.
The main objective of this centre is to motivate the students about robotics and its applications in various domains. In this centre students used to prepare the mobile controlled, gesture controlled and also underwater robots themselves and validate the effectiveness of the designed robots by participating in various national TechFest events and Hackathon competitions.

- Workshop on Android Development with Kotlin: GDSC SVIT Vasad hosted an Android Development with Kotlin workshop for 112 students, led by TY Computer student Abhinav Nair. Attendees gained a better understanding of Android development with Kotlin and how to create innovative, engaging mobile applications.
- Introduction to Mobile App Development: GDSC SVIT Vasad hosted a seminar on Introduction to Mobile App Development on September 19, 2022, led by Team Lead Prachi Duge from AV Devs Pvt. Ltd. The seminar was attended by 200 students who gained a better understanding of mobile app development and how to create innovative, engaging mobile apps.
- Web Development Bootcamp Event: GDSC, SVIT conducted a web development online event , where students learned about HTML, CSS, Javascript, and basic React.js concepts. The event was organized by Umang Patel (GDSC Web Development Lead).
- Introduction of Firebase: GDSC SVIT Vasad hosted a workshop on the introduction of Firebase, attended by over 90 students. The workshop was conducted by Mr Yash Patil, an expert in Firebase technology, who shared his knowledge and expertise on how to use Firebase to develop high-quality mobile and web applications.

Our lab serves as a hub for the esteemed "Code Unnati Program," which is planned by the Edunet foundation in our college.
Our Center of Excellence Lab is a testament to cutting-edge technology and innovative learning experiences. With a substantial investment of 20 Lakhs, we've equipped the lab with the latest software and state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring an exceptional learning environment for students.
CODE UNNATI PROGRAM:
The hallmark initiative, the Code Unnati Program, is a corporate-to-citizen venture focusing on digital literacy and IT skills development. The program encompasses diverse domains such as Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Resource Planning tools for Industry-specific Applications, and other Emerging Technologies. PROGRAM DETAILS:
The Code Unnati Program is structured from August 2022 to April 2023, encompassing classes held every Saturday and selected Fridays. The curriculum spans 180-210 hours of classroom sessions and hands-on project work. As a culmination, students undertake a Capstone Project and participate in intercollege showcase events. Moreover, our program facilitates job placement and entrepreneurial opportunities through incubation support. The program accommodates a batch size of 52 students, including TY and LY students from the IT, Computer, and EC branches.
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM:
In line with our commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge enhancement, we organize a one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on similar topics. This FDP empowers faculty members to grasp the latest tools and technologies, ensuring they remain updated with industry trends. By doing so, we aim to enhance the educational experience we provide to our students. We are also in the planning stages to extend similar programs to SY TY and LY students, envisioning a holistic educational approach that nurtures talent and encourages growth.
