In line with this quote, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology was established in the year 1997 with an immaculate vision of Iron-man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with the leadership of Shree Shivabhai Patel, Shree Chandubhai Patel and Shree Shantibhai Amin to impart excellent education to the youth of our country. The prime moto, to achieve excellence, with the medium of education, as it is the most powerful weapon one can use to change the world is kept at the highest priority by SVIT.

Strategic plan
SVIT strategic Plan for 2022-25 is designed to transform the culture at SVIT to enhance the student experience by fostering exceptional student centeredness. Transformation will include hardening resources to ensure every student is engaged and can be successful at every point in their journey, while enrolled at SVIT and after their time at SVIT.

Grading and creating community
The Management of SVIT constantly supports faculty-student- parent community, the main pillars of educational pursuits. The traditional classroom is judiciously blended with vocational-based practical teaching practice, to make it more result oriented, sound and effective with the support of diverse and well- qualified faculties drawn from academic institutes and industrial houses of high repute is an intellectual strength of SVIT as the working philosophy of SVIT revolves around knowledge which is the currency of 21st century.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad is one of the most promising educational hubs for the streams of engineering, architecture and vocational courses, situated between Vadodara and Anand, on the bank of holy river MAHI. It offers career making opportunities in the disciplines viz. computer, information technology, electronics and communication, instrumentation and control, electrical, mechanical, architecture and civil, including unique course of aeronautical engineering. It also offers Post graduate programs in mechanical, civil, computer, information technology and MCA. “We not only educate, we care too” With this philosophy, the institute aims to impart quality teaching to the aspiring young and technocrat minds in a way that facilitates their overall growth for which the college is equipped with adequate physical and intellectual resources.

In addition to it, the institute also promotes various scholastic & co-scholastic activities and events to catalyze holistic development of the students in the arena of research and development, sports, skills, innovations and start-ups. The institute keeps evolving concrete strategies in providing students, global platform of career opportunities by signing MoUs with number of apex universities-national and international, which provide overseas study scopes. Moreover, the campus delivers an excellent guidance to all the students in line with their future career plans, and supports to strengthen and satisfy the need of sports and other physical wellness of students by encouraging a healthy sports-friendly culture inside the college and also by offering a mental support in case of any emotional emergency to the students in form of counselling by the experts.

As a representative of SVIT, I along with my team of faculties and authorities aim to offer holistic assistance to mold, over all character of the students imbibed in the moral values which certainly makes them skillful, academically inquisitive, scientifically innovative, spiritually wise and emotionally strong.
