Library of College of Architecture is a galaxy of knowledge for students and faculty. It has a rich collection of 5652 text books and reference books, journals, magazines, audio/videos CD, these reports, Research reports, online journals, database analysis software, etc. It has a carpet area of over 320 sqm. All students and teachers who join the College automatically become members of the library.

SOUL 3.0 software is used in the library which automates the process of issue and return of books. WEB OPEC enables book reservation and generation of library usage reports. The library has internet-enabled computer workstations for online access to library resources. The reading room with a capacity of 200 is also made available to students and staff.

Apart from the books, we also provide following facilities

  • Periodical & Newspaper Section: Rich collection of latest periodicals, magazines and newspapers are subscribed by the college.
  • Reference Service: Assistance is provided to all the members searching for any book or reference material in the library.
  • Xerox Facility: The library has a facility for photocopy for the students.
  • Wi-Fi internet connectivity: The library is Wi-Fi enabled to provide students an easy access to the internet. Library has its own library server with 4TB Hard disk and 5 GB RAM to store all E-resources like E-Books, articles, University exam papers, Engineering Miracles; PPTs pertaining to different subjects, photographs of different events of college etc.

Workshops are structured as an open environment for material-based learning. Experimentation with materials, prototyping, testing, craft explorations and learning while making is an integral part of the design culture at SVIT

The safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors is a priority in every activity. The Workshops provide resources such as equipment, facilities, staff support and instruction to all students and faculty of SVIT for exploration and investigation into material-based research.

The Workshops houses Timber, Metal, Clay-Ceramic, Printmaking and the Fab-Lab facilities and is dedicated to model making activities.

The Workshop resources are focused on supporting students to make high quality models, prototypes and innovative products by providing:

  • Accessibility and technical support
  • Coaching to develop skills
  • Celebrate novel outcomes and
  • Augment facilities continually
  • Gymnasium : The college has got a very good Gym facility. The students can go to Gymkhana during free classes and keep themselves fit.
  • Medical Facility : Dr. Mehul Joshi is appointed by the Trust who is available in the college daily during 3.00PM to 4.00 P
  • Canteen : The college canteen provides snacks and meals along with other confectionary items in a hygienic condition.
  • Transportation : SVIT can be reached by road and broad gauge railway. SVIT provides bus facility from Vadodara and Ahmedabad.
  • Wifi Internet Connectivity : Accessing internet is very easy in the campus through Wi-Fi internet connectivity in the campus which facilitates anywhere any time learning for students.
  • Common Room For Boys & Girls : The institute has Common Rooms for Girls & Boys with all required facilities to cater to their needs.
  • Sanitary Napkins Vending Machine & Incinerators : Sanitary incinerators and a vending machine are installed in the girl's common room and disabled girl’s washroom.

Students enjoy the range of options in sport and activities. They have plenty of opportunities to represent the College in a team, develop their sporting skills or take up a new interest in the lively programme of lunchtime or after Academic Activities.

As an integral part of the curriculum, there is a balanced scheme of Physical Education that teaches skills, develops overall tenses and complements the Games programme. We aim to help students to understand the benefits and enjoyment of regular exercise and feel a condense in team and individual sport. The College of Architecture SVIT, Vasad is sporting life is supported by RST-class playing fields nearby, which we share with College.

The students are divided into groups known as Sports leagues which compete with each other every year in all sports activities. The college teams of Football, Basketball, Volleyball and Cricket participate in various local and national level tournaments. The sports committee also invites colleges and clubs across Gujarat to improve the standard of sports and also to improve relations with the sports community in Gujarat. The playground is used for football, volleyball courts, cricket or athletics according to the season. Resources for other indoor games like carroms, chess and tennis are also available. Tennis courts are also available. Indoor activities also include Photography, Creative Writing, Movie Club,Table Tennis, Drama, Basketball, Archery, Pottery, Board games , Chess, Cycling Safety, Indoor Football, Health Related and Fitness Yoga
