About Us

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT), Vasad was established in 1997 under the New English School Trust (NEST) and has been dedicated to quality technical and professional education for nearly three decades. Over the years, SVIT has expanded its academic offerings in response to the evolving needs of industry and society, with programs in Engineering, Computer Applications, and Management Studies. The MBA Program was introduced from the Academic Year 2024-25, further strengthening the institute’s presence in professional education under Gujarat Technological University and approved by AICTE.

Recognizing the growing demand for quality undergraduate education in the field of business and management, and in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), SVIT has introduced the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program from the Academic Year 2026-27 under Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. The BBA program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in business principles, managerial practices, entrepreneurship, and emerging industry trends.

The program aims to nurture future-ready graduates through a blend of academic rigor, practical exposure, skill development, and holistic learning. Supported by SVIT’s excellent infrastructure, experienced faculty, industry interaction initiatives, and student-centric environment, the BBA program aspires to develop competent professionals, innovative entrepreneurs, and responsible leaders for the dynamic business world.

Who can join?

Students aspiring to build a career in Business Administration after completing 12th (10+2) from Science, Commerce, or Arts streams.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The BBA program is a 4-year regular full-time program divided into 8 semesters.
  • The first six semesters, covering 3 years, will have a common curriculum for BBA, BBA (Honours), and BBA (Honours with Research) as per GTU guidelines.
  • After completion of 3 years, eligible students may choose their further pathway as per GTU guidelines implemented under the New Education Policy (NEP). (information will be available at GTU website)
