Profile

Prof. Dhruv M. Patel graduated from Government Engineering (GEC) College, Rajkot in 2009. He completed his Master of Technology from Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology (DDIT), Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU), Nadiad. He worked at Space Application Centre (SAC), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), and Ahmedabad for his M.Tech. Project work and contract job work. Currently he is pursuing his PhD in the field of Programmable Logic Controller design using Field Programmable Gate Array Technology from Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Chandkheda, and Gujarat. He published 7 research papers among them some papers published in reputed International h-indexed Journals like ISA Transaction (Impact Factor: 3.370), Elsevier and Journal of Process Control, Elsevier (Impact Factor: 2.787). He presented and published 2 research papers in International Conferences. He also published 2 book chapters in Springer and Taylor & Francis Group publication. He has served as a reviewer of several international journals and international conferences. He is actively involved in various technical and non-technical events organization at college level. He is faculty adviser of VISION-2013, VISION-2014, VISION-2016 & VISION-2019 and PRAKASH 2014, PRAKASH 2015, PRAKASH 2017 & PRAKASH 2019, SVIT, Vasad. The VISION and PRAKARSH are technical events organized by SVIT Vasad under ISTE chapter. He has supervised more than 25 graduate projects of various engineering branches. His current research interests are in the areas of Programmable Logic Controller, Field Programmable Gate Array, Microcontroller and LabVIEW based applications.
