Profile

Dr. Chetan O. Yadav is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT), Vasad, affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. He received his Ph.D. Degree (Mechanical Engineering) in 2022 from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, India, and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGD in IPR) in 2024. He has a total of 14 years of teaching and 1 year of industrial experience. His research areas include cryocoolers, micro-channel, porous media, thermal management of electronic cooling, and solar dryers. He holds three industrial design patents for innovative technologies and has published several research papers in reputed international journals, conferences, and book chapters with international publishers. He has received funding under the Student Startup Policy for innovative projects in areas such as space technologies and renewable energy. He has served as a jury member for Quality Control Concept (QCC) projects, industry-led live project evaluations, and innovation exhibitions at institutional levels. He has participated in various international and national short-term training programs and delivered expert talks under GUJCOST.
