Profile

Prof. Janki Chotai received B.E degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Gujarat University in 2004. She received M.E with specialization in Applied Instrumentation from Gujarat University in 2007. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. in the field of Energy harvesting from magnetic sensor from the Gujarat Technological University. She has also published a research article in reputed Journal and received a grant worth 2000 CHF (Swiss fracs) from Japanese Society for Promotional Science. This research work is also recognized by the well-known newspapers Gujarat Samachar, Sandesh, etc. She is working as a fulltime faculty at Sardar Vallbhbhai Patel Institute of Technology since January 2009.

Achievements

         Received a grant of 2000 CHF (Swiss Francs) from Japanese Society for Promotional Science (JSPS) for the publishing research article in MDPI’s Sensors Journal, titled “Self-Powered Digital Counter Using a Wiegand Sensor for Rotary Applications”.
