Profile

Prof. Falguni N. Patel is working as an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology Department, SVIT, Vasad since 19th September, 2005. She has completed her Doctor of Philosophy in CE/IT Engineering from Gujarat Technological University and pursued Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. She is having about 15 years of experience in teaching at Under Graduate and Post Graduate level. Prior to SVIT, she worked at VCAN Technologies, vadodara and Dev Computers, lunawada for a period of six months. She has published more than 20 papers in various National/International Conferences and Journals. She has guided more than 40 projects at Under Graduate level and more than 5 Dissertation at Post Graduate level. She has attended more than 50 seminars, workshops, training programs and conferences. She has also organized more than 20 expert talks and workshops for students and one short term training program for the faculties and students. She has performed duty as GTU Local Inspection committee member in 2017. She has worked as a program co-convener, which received GUJCOST grant of 12,000/- Rs. She is a Life member of Indian Society of Technical Education. She has performed reviewer duty in international conference at Parul University and IEEE Transaction. Her area of interest are Data Mining, Text mining and BigData.
