Profile

Dr. Brijeshkumar Y. Panchal holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Natural Language Processing (NLP) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He earned his M.Tech. in Computer Engineering from DDU, Nadiad, B.E. in Computer Engineering from SVIT Vasad-GTU, M.A. in Gujarati from Dr. BAOU, and a PG Certificate in Gandhi and Peace Studies from IGNOU. An award-winning poet, film and drama writer, Dr. Panchal actively works at the intersection of technology, language, and creative arts. His research interests include NLP, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. He has published research papers in reputed journals, conferences, and book chapters, and holds one granted design patent, two published utility patents, and two copyrights. He has guided multiple industry and research-oriented student projects in collaboration with SAC-ISRO, TCS, and BISAG. He has also organized and participated in various academic workshops, FDPs, and STTPs. Dr. Panchal served as editor of the Horizon and Samvaad newsletters and was selected as a PM YUVA Author Mentorship Scheme 2.0 Scholar by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, implemented through the National Book Trust (NBT).
