Profile

Dr. Dipen S Shah is Head of Mechanical Engineering Department , He obtained M.E. (Mechanical Engineering) specialization in Machine Design from BVM Engineering College, and Ph.D in area of Bearing Dynamics from C. U. shah University, Wadhwan, Gujarat. He has about twenty years of teaching experience at under graduate and post graduate level. His area of interest for research includes machine design, Tribology and machine dynamics. He guided students projects at M. E. and B.E. programmes. He is presently guiding 2 Ph.D. students affiliated to GTU for their research work. He has published number of papers at National & International conferences and journals. He has been working as a reviewer of International Journals and conferences. Presently He has worked as jury member for SSIP Projects and Patents Screening. He has completed MODROB Project financed by AICTE / MHRD, New Delhi for development of Dynamics of Machine laboratory. He is life member of ISTE.

Teaching UG/PG Courses in Mechanical Engineering, Examination and evaluation of students, Guiding UG/PG student Projects; Department Time-table Coordinator, Institute IE(I) Coordinator, Department Accreditation core team member, Member of Department Quality Audit Cell, Counselling of students, etc.
